Dr Angie Westwood is a General Practitioner (GP) with special interests in Aesthetics, Dermatology and Musculoskeletal therapy. 

Dr Westwood started her medical career as a MoD Scientist, carrying out research in the areas of immunology and vaccine design.  Subsequently, after qualification from medical school, Dr Westwood worked as a hospital doctor in plastic  surgery, trauma and orthopaedics, dermatology and other medical and surgical disciplines. It was during this period that Dr Westwood Aesthetics was first launched in 2013.

Now, as a GP, Dr Westwood is a partner in a busy practice in South Wales. In addition to the work of general practice Dr Westwood leads on dermatology and performs procedures including fitting of contraceptive devices, corticosteroid joint injections and skin surgery, including skin cancer treatment for patients within the wider locality. 

Continuing the path as an aesthetics practitioner, Dr Westwood remains a proud delegate of the Dr Bob Khanna Training Institute, 10 years after initial qualification from the UKs leading facial aesthetic training institute. Since then Dr Westwood has also achieved  Gold level membership of the International Academy of Advanced Facial Aesthetics.
