Cheek augmentation

Cheek augmentation with dermal filler (hyaluronic acid) into the mid face results in volume and rejuvenation, dramatically improving the signs of ageing.

The appearance of the ageing face is attributable to the gradual loss of collagen production and also bone resorption.

Loss of collagen makes the skin dry and sagging, and bone resorption causes a loss of volume in the mid-face (cheek area). The affect of this on the mid-face is a tired and sunken appearance.

Augmentation of the cheeks with filler addresses this problem giving an instantly more youthful appearance. When combined with tear trough treatment this optimises the rejuvenation of the mid face area.

Cheek sculpting can also be used to enhance the existing features of patients, creating the desired  aesthetic appearance.
